I started my career as a field tech with no degree, and later “somehow” built a seven-figure reality capture and survey firm from the ground up before being acquired, and then shifted focus to build Reality Capture Network into a global brand. I host R-CON, our annual conference in Boise Idaho of all places, yet draws close to 1,000 attendees from over 20 countries and nearly every state of the US. It happened because I got intentional about networking, LinkedIn, showing up consistently through content, sharing what I knew, did my best to add value to others, and let it compound over time alongside the real in-person relationships I was building.
